CommunityPass is an established program used nationwide by many organizations to simplify and organize large activity-based organizations with numerous patrons. Some of you may be registered with CommunityPass through another organization somewhere else in the USA. Municipal parks and recreation departments are among the many users of CommunityPass. Our ECFF family has grown to the size that we need this system.
All users of our pool facilities will need to have an account in our CommunityPass system. Click on the QR code to link directly to create your account. Each family will have a Family Account, and spouses, children and additional family members will be listed in that family account. Through that account, members will be able to register for programs and, if they choose to, make payments and set up automatic renewals and payment programs. Once you set up the Family Account and all of the family members, All program participants need to register for the "ECFF Lifetime Membership". There is a one-time $10 fee for the Lifetime Membership. The Lifetime Membership is REQUIRED for everyone to be able to register for any of our programs, classes, events or activities.
The new system will allow patrons, members, and visitors to register for ECFF programs like Lap Swim, Aquacize and Total Flex and maintain a rolling membership. Patrons may choose to set up a secure online renewal payment that will automatically charge a credit card or bank account each month to renew membership. Payments may also be made at the pool by cash, check or credit card. Members may change payment options at any time through their account. The CommunityPass system will remind you when it is time to pay for another month. NO MORE "CALENDAR-MONTH" ONLY PROGRAMS. You get 30 days from the day you pay, or a date you specify, to enjoy your participation.
With this online system, we will be able to send emails to all members, or specific groups of members with information about program signups, schedule changes, and special opportunities. This will be especially helpful with short-notice events like storm closures.
Online Swim Lesson registrations will now be available-so you can register and pay at home, instead of racing to the pool at 5:00am to secure a spot. Spaces in classes will still be limited and waitlists will be available. Our lesson coordinators will still assign students to classes and work to accommodate every waitlisted child. We will notify all registered users when the registration for the next month's lessons will be open and available.
We will introduce and employ a barcoded key-tag patron ID system where each patron will have their own numbered key tag and a member ID card on their phone. They will scan it when they enter and exit the facility. This will keep record of who is using our facility, which will allow us to schedule programs and staffing more efficiently and provide information about the community we serve when we are seeking grants and donations.
This digital system will allow many of you to skip the line at the desk waiting to sign up, sign in, or make payment. Just scan your key tag and enjoy your swim! Paperwork, and the associated errors and confusion will be tremendously reduced. This will allow our staff to serve every patron better. Efficiency and professionalism at all of our facilities will be the name of the game.
Transitions are never easy. Computers aren't always cooperative. The CommunityPass system is complex, and we are learning how it works just ahead of our patrons. Please be patient with us as we make this conversion. We need to hear about any challenges you face and our pool staff is standing by to help in any way we can. Our digitally-challenged patrons are still precious to us and we will assist them in getting registered and up and running with the new system. No one will be left out. If you need help, PLEASE ASK! Sometimes another patron will be the best resource you have.
The Emerald Coast Fitness Foundation is a public charity formed to develop physical fitness and water safety among the youth and adults of Okaloosa County.
Our organization operates the only public swimming facilities in Okaloosa County. Our pools and programs serve the entire community.
We offer swim lessons at all of our facilities for swimmers of all ages and abilities.

Put on your waterproof sunscreen and get your vitamin D while you enjoy swimming at our geothermal-heated outdoor pool in Destin. The indoor pool at the Bernie is also available and will accommodate Destin swimmers if the pool is closed due to inclement weather conditions.
Coast Aquatics is a USA Swimming Year-Round Club for youth and adults
We also have summer league teams at each pool: Bernie's BullSharks, Crestview Crusaders and Destin Dolphins. Check facebook pages for information about their programs this summer
At the Aquatic Center in Destin on Sundays from 11:00am-1:00pm. All experience and ability levels welcome. Come and learn from some very experienced players.
Take the class from our in-house Red Cross Certified Lifeguard Instructor and then join our water safety team. Minimum age 15
Aquacize Sessions are available daily at all pools! Join us for fitness, friendship and fun. We are also looking for class leaders in Crestview.
